It's a Knockout!

On the 29th of June 2013, PLUS is bringing the smash hit "It's A Knockout" event to Stirling! Based on the popular 60's, 70's & 80's TV show. It's A Knockout is all about obstacle courses, silly costumes , foam and messy fun.

Charles Archibald's 405Km Endurance Challenge

Charles Archibald wanted to take on a monumental challenge and now he's got one! To fundraise for PLUS, Charles is enduring 405Km of cycling and running over just 4 days.

2012PLUS Fundraising

Many thanks the schools, staff teams, local communities and groups who have taken the time to raise funds for PLUS in 2012. Your support is much appreciated and has a great impact on the service we are able to provide across the Forth Valley.

Fiona Halliday a sessional member of staff at PLUS put herself through a gruelling cycle between Stirling and Glasgow at the end of the summer. She raised £348 for PLUS.

St Mary's Episcopal Primary School in Dunblane undertook some fundraising activites and at the end of the school term donated £227.29 to PLUS.

Tulliallan Police College, Course 1/2012 nominated PLUS as their charity to focus on throughout their course. A total of £2,943.44 was kindly donated to PLUS in June.

St Modans High School chose PLUS as their charity of the year and have undertaken various fundraising events. The school presented a cheque to the total of £11,900 to PLUS in June 2012. £5,000 of this was donated by Sir Tom Farmer who had challenged the pupils to raise funds for a local charity, and then pledged to double what they make – up to £5000. Many thanks to St Modan's for all their support.

PLUS did a bag packing session at Marks and Spencers in Stirling and raised £1,052. This was supported by sessional staff, core staff, volunteers, service users, families and extended friends. A special thanks to the pupils of St Modans High School, and the Rock Community Project who manned tills for PLUS throughout the day.

 Stirling University Cheerleading Group did a sponsored row and donated £352 to PLUS.

Stirling Secondary Schools had a coffee morning and donated £200  to PLUS

Cambusbarron Community held a ceilidh at the beginning of the year and donated £250 to PLUS

* Ogilvie Construction held a Family Fun Day In August and raised £500 for PLUS  

* The Carse of Stirling Rotary Club donated £500 from the Santa Sleigh collection in December

* St Marys Primary School in Dunblane held a Healthy Start Fundraiser in September and raised money for PLUS.
