PLUS would like to thank the The Provincial Grand Lodge of Stirlingshire for their kind donation of Â£2,000. This donation will go towards supporting our Aspergers Project.
A huge thank you to Celebrate who have awarded us Â£6000! The funding will be used to support various Commonwealth Games themed sports activities.
Hazel Douglas @ Stirling Credit Union - Â£140 raise at the MacRoberts Centre through the showing of Rio 2 Stirling Credit Union provides savings options and loans and is owned by its members and runs solely for the benefit of its members.

The children and young people at PLUS would like to say a huge thanks to John Burrows and team at Audi, Stirling for donating 2 hampers of Easter Eggs! A big thank you to all the pupils at Beaconhurst School who held a bake sale and raised a wonderful Â£289.12. We would like to offer our thanks for your continued support through your bake sales and feel as if we are on the same wavelenth, as all of us at PLUS are quite partial to a few cakes too!

Jennifer MacGregor raised a staggering Â£205.10 by holding a raffle for beautiful quilt (which she crafted by hand!!) to the patients at Bannockburn Medical Practice. Everyone at PLUS is incredibly grateful for this donation and it will undoubtledly be put to good use.

Mad Hatters Tea Party
The Mad Hatters Tea Party was organised by Janet Gill and held in her beautiful garden in Dunblane. The day proved to be highly successful and entertaining. There were homemade cakes galore, all different shapes and sizes and topped off by a cup of tea served in china cups! The jazz band played as guests played giant garden games of Jenga and Connect 4 while others had tea leaf readings by the radiant Madame Syme.
PLUS would like to thank Janet for all her hard work and dedictation to make the Mad Hatters Tea Party such a success! Janet successfully raised over Â£650! PLUS would also like to thank Highland Spring for donating bottled water for this event.

2013 PLUS Fundraising
Thank you to The Bannockburn Masonic Lodge for the use of their bingo machine, and to Charlie Gay for calling the numbers at our bingo tea event. We raised a fantastic Â£530.00.
Youth Scotland kindly donated Â£250.00 to us and so we would like to thank them.

The Falkirk Community Hospital's (NHS) Administration Building Staff donated the Â£34.00 raised from their dress down day.
Since moving to our new premises, PLUS has had a lot of volunteer and in kind support from local businesses. This has included a great deal of manual labour from Stirling Council Community Payback Team, donation of surface materials from Marshalls, Sand and Whin Dust from Tillicoultry Quarries, Cemex and Pattersons of Greenoak, masonry paint and fening paint from Kernis Communications and B&Q and volunteers from Waitrose Stirling who gave us some of their valuable time to help with the painting of planters and walls! PLUS is delighted to have had such a positive response to our local appeals for support. Our outdoor areas are really beginning to take shape.
Beatsons, Stirling donated Â£500 to support the development of the sensory garden at PLUS.
Speedy Hire donated Â£100 towards the creation of a safe outdoor space for young people coming along to events at PLUS.
Pupils from Ochil House at Wallace High School very kindly donated a cheque Â£175.
A member of the PLUS sessional staff team, raised Â£187 by taking part in the East Highland Way with her family.
Shortly after being announced as Sainsburys Stirling Charity of the year, customers at the store helped PLUS staff and volunteers raise Â£1108.27 through a bag pack and tombola stall. 2013 will be an exciting year, working in partnership with staff from Sainsburys.
PLUS was nominated to be part of the ASDA Alloa token scheme, and received a donation of Â£50, in addition to the Â£397.67 raised at a profile raising tombola stall in the store.
D'Nisi in Alloa worked alongside PLUS to host a charity Tapas night in their coffee shop at the beginning of May. This event raised Â£324.96, and left everyone wondering if they could book for the next event! Watch this space...!
H&T, based in Stirling have been keen to raise funds for PLUS, undertaking a variety of activities in store. Their first donation to PLUS was for Â£46 - which we will be gratefully using to purchase new painting resources for the busy summer programme.
PLUS has the support of several businesses across the Forth Valley, a number of which have a 'coin tin' on their shop counters. Divinity in the Arcade in Stirling have been a supporter for a number of years, and recently donated a further Â£35.16 to PLUS from their customers. In addition, we are extremely appreciative of a Â£500 donation which we received from a local business.
QVS - Two pupils from QVS came to visit PLUS in April to present us with a cheque for Â£56, which they managed to raise through planning an event at school. The girls were able to come to see where PLUS will be hosting its events over the summer period, and got the chance to find out more about the activities we run.
In March, the PLUS Fundraising group organised a 'Pampered Chef' event, which took place in the new office space. Susan Gillhespie, a Pampered Chef Consulant from Glasgow was kind enough to come along to host the event for us. Despite the cooker not arriving on time, Susan was still able to demonstrate several recipes, whilst explaining about the equipment she was using. This event provided an enjoyable evening and raised almost Â£100.
Morton House at Beaconhurst School showed us how successful a cake sale can be by raising an astonishing Â£199.85 at their sale in February. Having seen some of the photos, the pupils and teachers had been very busy in the kitchen... and I am sure they all appreciated the tasting sesions they were able to benefit from afterwards!
Sara Peddie,a sessional member of staff for PLUS, started 2013 off with our first event - a Bingo Tea! This event was well attended, with an amazing selection of home baking, raffle prizes and our very own Bingo caller who kept us on our toes for the evening! Many thanks to Sara for the time and effort she put into planning this event, and to all the local businesses who kindly offered raffle prizes for the night. Sara raised Â£202.01 on the night.
An experimental 'Don't Come' Glitz and Glam Ball was in our diaries for January - an event that promised the world, but offered nothing. No time required, no ball gown.... but raised around Â£250 for PLUS!
2012 PLUS Fundraising
Many thanks the schools, staff teams, local communities and groups who have taken the time to raise funds for PLUS in 2012. Your support is much appreciated and has a great impact on the service we are able to provide across the Forth Valley.
Fiona Halliday a sessional member of staff at PLUS put herself through a gruelling cycle between Stirling and Glasgow at the end of the summer. She raised Â£348 for PLUS.
St Mary's Episcopal Primary School in Dunblane undertook some fundraising activites and at the end of the school term donated Â£227.29 to PLUS.
Tulliallan Police College, Course 1/2012 nominated PLUS as their charity to focus on throughout their course. A total of Â£2,943.44 was kindly donated to PLUS in June.
St Modans High School chose PLUS as their charity of the year and have undertaken various fundraising events. The school presented a cheque to the total of Â£11,900 to PLUS in June 2012. Â£5,000 of this was donated by Sir Tom Farmer who had challenged the pupils to raise funds for a local charity, and then pledged to double what they make â€“ up to Â£5000. Many thanks to St Modan's for all their support.
PLUS did a bag packing session at Marks and Spencers in Stirling and raised Â£1,052. This was supported by sessional staff, core staff, volunteers, service users, families and extended friends. A special thanks to the pupils of St Modans High School, and the Rock Community Project who manned tills for PLUS throughout the day.
Stirling University Cheerleading Group did a sponsored row and donated Â£352 to PLUS.
